Welcome to Indy Painting! My name is Kory, and I’m the President and Founder of Indy Painting. I founded Indy Painting in the fall of 1997. It began as a franchise for the largest residential painting company in North America. Having painted with my father for years, I had a knack for the business and quickly led Indy Painting to the top of the franchise rankings.
In our inaugural year, we became the #1 first-year franchise (#8 overall) in the U.S. and Canada, beating out over 500 others. During that time, we shattered the Minnesota production record, a record that had stood for over 20 years. That success was repeated over the next few years, with Indy Painting ranking in the top ten nationwide in overall sales and volume each year.
After three record-breaking years at the top, I decided that Indy Painting had outgrown the franchise system and could do even better on its own. In the fall of 2000, we broke away from the franchise to focus on increasing our quality and the scope of our projects.
Since then, referrals and word-of-mouth business have become a mainstay for us as happy customers spread the word about our work. Indy Painting is still going strong, serving the entire Twin Cities metro area.
